These are the 4 levels that will be offered. This is a USHJA Trainer Certification Clinic.
2. Hunter Section-* Fence Height approx. 3 ft.- (focusing on the ideal hunter ride and performance)
3. Jumper Section- *Fence Heights approx. 3' to 3'6"- (focusing on rideability of the jumper, understanding how to develop a plan to ride the course and how to negotiate the jump-off)
4. Equitation Section- *Fence Heights approx. 3' to 3'6"- (focusing on position, style, and effectiveness of the rider as well as learning to negotiate more advanced courses that are encountered in
equitation classes)
Each level will ride for approx. 2 hours each day. Flat work will be incorporated into all levels.
The cost for the 2 day clinic is $425 plus $50 for a stall which includes 1 weekend pass for viewing audit. Each section will be limited to 7 riders. The cost for the Trainer Certification Program is $150 which includes lunch for those participants. The cost for auditing is $25 for 1 day or $40 for both days.** Video taping is not allowed. Ride times will be available 1 week prior to the clinic.
